So... which G-Man model is the best? Realized I actually haven't asked this particular question on here. If you think it's none of the above, do say which alternate one it is. If you want my opinion; I love all three of these G-Men. There are pros and cons with each version, hence why when I draw him I incorporate things from all three. An example would be the fact the HLA model needs to be more pale and his hair needs to be black (with grey), but he has the best suit out of them and is generally very beautiful (to me). Haha. The HL2 version has the prettiest eyes however and looks very unhuman, which is awesome; but has some texture issues. And the HL1 version... okay I can't fault him... um, okay blue eyes isn't as cool as turquoise I guess... :)
I've always preferred the hl2 model. The hl1 model looks too alien and the hla model looks too human. The hl2 model is the perfect blend for me.
i would have said the hl1 gman (mostly of my love for low-poly models), but honestly i prefer hl2's gman because i have seen him so much compared to other models and he just grew on me
I have become attached to the particular details of Hl2 G-man, that is his "look" to me, though I do also appreciate how he always looks slightly different, as I mentioned, that's a fun detail to have, a character who is always changing slightly.
i'd say i sit somewhere between the HL2 and HL:A model. his design from HL2 is just so iconic, but the obvious visual improvements and facial animations of the HL:A model are really appealing to me i think the HL2 model gives me a more uneasy and creepy vibe, whereas the HL:A model definitely feels more sinister/plotting
I like model from HLa, but Gman itself for me best in HL1, where he is not a person who talks like he wants to be looked by alien. But somebody who talks like beurokrat with weird prononce of "S"
