This guy is one of the weirdest Half-Life players I've ever seen. It all started some time ago when he would post on r/halflife how everything in Half-Life is sexual. He also made his own HL3 fan-fic full of sex jokes and other things. When people would criticize him for that, he would throw tantrum at them and say how people are mean to him, as if he wasn't more annoying. Then he would post these kind of stuff on r/okbuddyhalflife, which is a shitpost Half-Life subreddit. He would be later on banned from that subreddit and would post rants about it on the main subreddit. He would also post an image of him with a cigar to confirm that he isn't a child. I have no idea if that's an actual troll or if he's really that weird. Sadly we have a fair share of people who bring this nonsense here too. The difference is we have way less tolerance and will ban such behavior. I am not going to name anyone to give them attention, but we have a few users who were banned months ago, who to this day continue to send abuse to our staff. Please don't give attention to these people - it's what they thrive off.

Its good the problem is nipped in the bud as soon as it starts. But if this site gets bigger it will put a strain on resources allocatted to banning and or dealing with people.

Now I kinda regret talking about that guy, given the fact that it's probably what he wants.

Yeh - our plan is for each subcommunity to have it's own set of moderators (the SFM section is a good example of this in action). We'll be recruiting folks in the future who seem to be sensible regulars of the other sections :)

I wouldn't worry, but social media is full of a lot of attention seekers (Twitter especially!). I vision our site being able to be about the games, fandom and community content over drama and nonsense as one of it's unique 'features'.
