I heard about the HLX Rumor, could X refer to Xen? Because the leaks refer to gravity (Xen had a different gravity) and creatures. I think Half-Life should focus on other things than gravity, but I don't see a problem with wanting to focus on that to innovate, besides that, and if HLX (HL3) has Xen, which Xen did you want: Xen Half-Life 1 or Xen Black Mesa Source? I think a mix of the two would work. Some levels with the classic palette, some like Black Mesa, with Alyxs interpretation being the underlying glue
I think that they would pick the official version of xen but with a great refresh better shadow and maybe some ray-tracing, but what I really want to see is the weird ass aliens from blue shift and opposing force.
I saw in an image the project was called "Project white sands" referencing the epistle 3 where alyx and Gordon go to antartica, I think it would be an continuation of hl2 ep 2, but that idea enters in conflict with the final of hla
