it's feel like Half life 2 on Source 2
The beauty of RTX Remix is it allows any existing game to be overhauled like this. The original hl2.exe is running, with the renderer being swapped for RTX Remix with new assets.
I love how Half Life 2 rtx looks. When it comes out I can't play it cause I have an Nvidia GTX 790 which well it won't run Half Life 2 rtx but once I get a 4080 it will run good.
Well ray reconstruction off looks better. The other one looks like a very high resolution texture without mipmapping technology. I know this is a completely different technology, but when I look at the picture, this is what I see.
will there be a way to use the new assets without an rtx graphics card
If you mean without a ray tracing card then no. The game works on AMD ray tracing cards, however DLSS is Nvidia only. To experience HL2RTX in all it’s glory a Nvidia RTX 3XXX or above card is ideal. I have to say DLSS 3 is working really well for me in Portal RTX with a 4000 series Nvidia card.
