Honestly when I played it, I didn't like it. But I know that's an unpopular opinion and there is a lot of hype around it so I understand why it won first place.
i kinda have to agree with you, the story sounded kinda stupid to me
and the many references were too much for me, but i appreciate the effort they put into it and i congratulate them for managing win it
The concept is great, SOME of the voice acting is great, setting was interesting, but the story was hard to grab, it was oversaturated with references, and some of the voice acting was terrible. Also from what I recall there was some sort of aperture science not called aperture science but something else and it had this weird unexplained blue death glue and yeah. Interesting, good potential, meh game.
