Hello? Is anyone there? This is Doctor Isaac Kleiner, and I'm... stuck down here in the Anomalous Materials Lab with Doctor Eli Vance and various other employees! We've sent my associate, Doctor Gordon Freeman, up to the surface to get help, but it seems his route of escape has collapsed behind him! We're currently in the lobby, but the transit system has shut down, and any other means of escape have been blocked off! We're trying to find a way to reach the monorail floor so we can venture back on foot, but the chances of us crossing the chasm is scarily lacking. If you're hearing this transmission, send help! Eli has a family in this facility, and we're trying everything we can to reach them!
