Ok guys, so recently starring from yesterday i was playing Half-Life's 25th anniversary update and uhh well, it has some pros and cons which i'd like to mention: Pros: - HUD fits to any monitor (unlike Steam version which's HUD was rlly tiny in big/modern monitors) - Half-Life Uplink added to Half-Life - og Half-Life menu is back, with a new settings tab (includes also new game, save/load game and quit game) - new maps for multiplayer - you can play it with either Original or HD models with 1 click Cons: I see no con except game works better in english. In other languages like spanish, the game (specially the Uplink demo) seems to have a lot of troubles Conclussion: great update for remember Half-Life in its 25th anniversary, def the ULTIMATE Half-Life and a great gift to HL players (both newbies or veterans). I know there might be some bugs that needs to be fixed and Valve knows about this. For now, the only way to enjoy this ultimate version is by playing it in English Final note: 9.5/10 (the Ultimate version of Half-Life, better than the Steam Version, but not the best option for other languages than English)

You forgot to mention all the bugs, like no HUD; all weapons sounds are delayed; muzzle flash sprites from custom weapons are now tiny; mods, that have custom content are broken, or not launching, other mods have a cropped menu screen; Uplink has no custom dialogue (and no, it has nothing to do with foreign languages), etc... And this was observed just on the first few minutes of my testing attempt, so I am sure there are plenty more, because the Steam workshop forums are being flooded with complaints for the last 24 hours. I really want to enjoy this (especially love the menu and returned features, like shadows & head bob), but sadly I can't and have to stick with the legacy edition for the time being, untill all of the issues are resolved. If an update is not compatible with mods, then there is no purpose for an update.
i almost had no bugs, but i agree this update made some mods (like solo mission) no longer be supported (unless u install the legacy via beta properties)
Gotta add this update made the game a bit easier So ez i was questioning if i'm playing in Normal or if i accidentally chose easy mode
texture filtering is ass. Play it unfiltered for better quality
