Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve definitely heard of FakeFactory remaster. This game is mostly good except for its crap load of bugs. So I’m going to be leaving my honest review on this mod here on this site. I have very mixed opinions on this mod after playing it the whole way through. The first third of the game plays perfectly, and is beautiful! But at about the start of Highway 17 is when things started to get glitchy. All my audio slowed down, and I ended up skipping the chapter altogether and giving myself my drumstick and AR3 after loading up sand traps, past that I didn’t have many issues for a while, until striders started showing up, which had really bad movement, occasionally climbing on nonexistent objects, and going dormant, notably the one near the area with all the scanners and that one building with the rockets. It’s also notable that changes become far less noticeable during the citadel chapters. I also had weird audio bugs in the start of “Our Benefactors” perhaps as a byproduct of the cheat I used to fast forward the stalker roller coaster, but it usually works without any issues. So overall it’s a good experience 2/3 of the time. The scenery is amazing and all the cinematic mod bad has been removed. It’s worth a play for sure. But I wouldn’t blame you for stopping at Highway 17.
