Yes, I think RTBR, DI, and Black Mesa: Blue Shift are doing it right - releasing things in chunks and then patching and revamping them later. Releasing gets the community excited, and it also gives the devs a lot of feedback to work with. I wish Boreal Alyph would release what they had. Also, Vance did a good thing by releasing their material so that other can use or update it. In fact, I could be wrong, but I think the Alyx gun segment from RTBRs Div 2 came straight out of what Vance released to the public
