Has anyone played the first Red Faction? The game is very similar to the first Half-Life and was released the same year as Half-Life: Blue Shift. I was surprised that not only is it similar to Half-Life, but it also plays just as cheerfully and is filled with different events and memorable characters. At first I thought that the game was made on GoldSrc, but no, it’s GeoMod, the same cool engine as GoldSrc only adds destructibility to the environment. Moreover, the game, just like Half-Life, is supported by fans, just like the Dash Faction modification that adds improved textures. In addition, the game takes place in the same universe as Saints Row (at least until the fourth part). I think such games should also be advertised on LambdaGeneration, since they, like Half-Life, retain an immersive experience even after many years.
