i gotta admit; i downloaded the latest non-steam version of Jackhammer Editor (aka version 1.1.3773) about a few months ago and i only used it like two or three times, before i went back to using the old version (which is the version 1.1.1064), however the problem is that, when i was using the latest version back then; after setting up my Game Profiles' settings, added the fgd files and the paths within the directories and such, Jackhammer strangely couldn't even find the zhlt.wad file despite that i literally added it within the textures, but unlike the old version that i used (aka the version 1.1.1064), it recognized it and it can compile maps without an Error like this. can someone help me find out what's preventing the program to notice the zhlt.wad file, and maybe give me a solution for this problem?
It for some reason can no longer read it from the program's folder. It can read it if you put it in your mod directory and point to it there.
hmm, that's strange. even if i used a mod and added the path within the mod directory, it somehow still didn't notice it. as much as i could ignore it and keep using the old version, there are some entities that the new version can allow me to use from the mod i'm using (which is Half-life Featureful).
Did you swap the zhlt.wad in the textures tab with the new one in the mod directory?
i doubt it tbh, i mean i put the zhlt.wad from the JACK folder, specifically the one that's the latest version of jackhammer editor
If you don't point to the wad in your mod directory in the textures tab, it simply will still try to read the one that was originally configured (which is the one in JACK's program folder.)
