Nearing the evening of the second day of the Black Mesa Incident, the order is given for the HECU to evacuate. However, not every Marine received the order, and not every Marine had the ability to evacuate the facility. Deathwagon 2-1, a small firebase, is cutoff and surrounded, hopelessly fighting swarms of aliens off while a MQ-9 Reaper UAV hovers over the last stand, the UAV operators hundreds of miles away, powerless to do anything but watch. If it not for the wider repercussions that follow…
