Judging by the fact that assassins were sent for hecu, then Shepard must be disappointed with this decision and judging by the fact that we are not allowed to kill Freeman, then if Shepard catches him, it's definitely not to kill him. I am sure that half life 3 instead of Alyx we will see a new satellite.
We don't know much about Shepard, what kind of character he has, what moral principles. I find him even more mysterious than Gordon. At least we've seen Freeman's face, but there's nothing on that face at all. But I still think that Adrian, unlike his colleagues, remained a man and not a murderer
