Looks like this is the "env_gunfire" entitie. It's used to create the Illusion of NPCs fighting. (while not seeing them) The lvl designer must have forgotten to turn it off :D
actually this was a half life 2 map but thanks for letting me know i didnt know that entity exists ^^

Maybe a Combine Soldier which inexplicably forgot to load in? That's my only guess.
