I received a HL2 Prima Guide recently and I saw that Chapter 12 was labelled as "Benefactory", but it is actually called "Our Benefactors". A simple mistake in the book? A last minute change? Did Valve realise that it was a bad pun? Who knows? I couldn't find anything on it online, so I thought I would post about it. Feel free to leave theories or explanations. One such theory I have is that when the Orange Box update came for HL2, Valve also changed the chapter name along with all the other visual improvements. I cannot confirm this, so it would be great if someone could confirm or disprove this theory.

woah that's so weird btw basing on the 2004 day one build of hl2 (before the orange box update) the chapter was and always has been called 'our benefactors' so unfortunately your theory is not true. still a good find though and a decent and plausible theory
yeah i checked this before, its disappointing that we will never find an answer
it's probably a typo that no one noticed or a sh**ty pun still sad we will never find an answer tho :(
