I’ve been drawing a few real places I see often as if they exist in Half Life 2. Since they’re all in Southern Louisiana (USA) they’re pretty beat up.

this makes me want a mod during the 7 hour war that takes place in louisiana so badly
Yeah like trekking through the swamps and battles in the streets of New Orleans. One of the pics I drew is my own house, half destroyed. While I like the idea of city scape battles, it would also be interesting to see how suburban/rural areas would play out. For rural, off in the distance is grey clouds with green lightning. Striders on the horizon. Burning manta rays pass overhead, followed by jets. Zombies just shambling through sugar cane fields. It would be quite aesthetic. I think I might draw the sugar cane field idea.
