The first point of proof is Alyx Vance in Half-Life 2. Eli Vance already had a daughter in Black Mesa, and she was no older than 2–3 years old, as seen in the family photo in Black Mesa East, in the room with the teleport. If we look at this photo, Eli says that he carried only this photo and Alyx Vance out of Black Mesa with him. Additionally, in Half-Life 2, Alyx Vance appears to be between 20 and 25 years old, not older than 30.
The second point, which we can INSTANTLY prove it, is in Half-Life: Alyx. At the beginning of the game, there’s a message for clarification:
"It is five years before the collapse of the Citadel,
and the death of Eli Vance.'
