When i was 10 years old, I discovered Half-Life on one of the school PCs. I played a lot of counter strike before, but I didn’t know it was an hl mod. I played HLDM with my friends when the teacher didn’t check what we were doing, and it was really funny. At the time, I didn’t even know that half life was a singleplayer game by default. I didn't know what the difference was between goldsrc and source, so i first played half-life source instead of the original half-life. It was a mistake.
my school pc had hl2 installed too and a mod i forgot the name, pbly dod source or something else when i discovered half life, i discovered the hl2 first, and when i saw goldsrc, cuz the name i though was like source 2 or a enhanced source engine LOL

I discovered Half life deathmatch in school. But it was the GoldSrc version. When i went home, i found it on steam that Half-Life: Source is the "same" game, but you get 2 games instead of one if you buy it (Half-Life Deathmatch: Source). Yea, i was kinda stupid. By the way, it was installed with Counter-Strike 1.6. If you install the free Counter-Strike Warzone, you will get half life too. Someone installed it on all pcs.
