For those who eagerly waited to play in 2004, it’s crazy to think Half-Life 2 is now 20 years old.
What is your earliest memory of Half-Life 2? How did discover the game? Did it inspire your outlook on gaming, or even your career?

1 - I remember using the Gravity Gun and taking car engines against zombies because of the strength (most of the players I saw playing HL2 used the Saw a lot);
2 - I discovered it on a games YouTuber talking about this franchise (creator, the beginning of VALVe, mods, Steam and the canceled Episode 3.
3 - Half-Life 2 showed me the interactivity in the scenarios/combats/puzzles.
HALF-LIFE 2 FOREVER.
The Half-Life series has been my very first interaction with videogames In my life, the equivalent of kids in the 90's with Doom but In the 00's.
I was a kid when I played Half-Life 2 and Episode One on the old computer with my now gone father. Episode One being the very first time I got scare by something and It was the Vortigaunts on the Intro of that game. for some reason the Vortigaunts gave me fear and more with the purple look the have in the intro. Half-Life 2 and the rest of the series also helped to shape my taste In videogames, specially with First Person Shooters later on In my High School years. I also grew up with Source and the aesthetic of HL2 mostly because of GMOD and Machinimas. it's a part of me and I'm so happy that Valve is giving it the proper treatment it deserves, not many games have type of care from it's developers today.
Well I'm 16 so I wasnt even born when Half-Life 2 came out, but I remember discover the game when I discovered Portal 2. I was amazed by the game. So, I watched a lore video about it, and the guy started talk about HL, and then HL2. My oldest memory was probably maybe.. I dont really tell. Everything is kinda a mess in my head, but I think when I started to play with Garry's Mod when I was 10/11.
It definitely inspire because now, I'm working on Hammer (SOMETIMES), and well, I have a full collection about it ! Half-Life is one or maybe the best FPS game ever made !!
