"CPs!"

This one was a disaster. Fire effects would quickly wear out, rebel NPCs kept running away from a headcrab i placed inside of me so they could aim at the metrocops instead of wherever they were gonna look (i changed one to a ragdoll and deleted the other one), and the weapons were hard to place correctly.

note: unlike the past ones, i finished it right now, instead of a month prior.

It's 2 AM. God help me.

note 2: it was made in gmod. forgot to mention it.

did you made this on Gmod?

Oh, thanks for pointing that out. Forgot to mention it. As for the question, yes.

Makes sense. If this was made using SFM then I'd say just open the particle start/stop editor thingy... I wonder if there's an addon in the workshop that can do just that; adjust the duration of a particle.

Funny you bring SFM up, cuz some years ago, i used to make stuff on it. Though since i was a complete newbie, i just posed characters, added lighting if i felt like it, and just... kept it there, for whenever i wanted to look at it. Crashed all the time. At one point, i gave up trying to use it. Besides, using the physgun to pose characters is a lot more fun than the bare-bones menu i had to use. Also, physics, so that's a plus.

I was the complete opposite, I used SFM cuz I wanted to animate back then (and still is now). And to me, I prefer to use that "bare bones menu" - I guess u havent heard of a thing called "Element Viewer" - over physgun, but maybe I liked having more than one view when I worked on something. Plus there's a physics rig for SFM out there, but I havent tried it yet cuz havent needed to try it. I do agree that stability is an issue though. I use Gmod mostly for playing HL2 and the Episodes' maps while throwing things like other games' PM or really really old bolt action rifles.

Wait, hold on, i just remembered that there was a second reason why i quit SFM: Like i said before, all i did was pose characters because of my unexperience, and "proudly" look at my "work". I didn't really feel like i was doing anything progressive. Didn't feel like i was doing anything cool, like i was just wasting my time. And i rarely even posed characters! Most of my time on SFM was just looking at a bunch of models i got on the workshop, then... Not use them. Just leaving them in my computer, never to be used again. Plus, it wasn't very fun for me, cuz i couldn't mess around. Y'know, spawn ragdolls and throw 'em around, using never-used-before toolgun tools in a fun way, stuff like that. Garry's Mod is the better one for me. It just is, even if i can't discover why.

I guess u already said why; u can mess around with ragdolls. To me I was looking for realizing all of my imagined scenarios since I have watched a bit of too much animated characters way before I know SFM exists, and so most of them are only in my head back then. Funny that I discovered SFM in the same timeframe as I discovering Zelda and HL. In any case, use whats works best to ya. I'm glad that you can do whatever you want and got reactions from people.

Can't say I agree calling this a 'disaster', this looks very well done, my only nitpick is that there's no HUD, hahahha

MissingTexture

I dunno why, but i just felt like having no HUD kinda made it a little bit better, more scenic. Oh, also, i left a part of my HUD on-screen. A prone addon i installed for Gmod. Well, it's more of an addon for an addon.

Hahaha, always something to learn from :D I still say it looks great all the same!
