even though Gordon survived after fighting 85% on his own in half-life 1 and 70% on his own in half-life 2 and the other two episodes, Gordon wouldn't easily win all by himself. but it is possible that Gordon will win instead of the US marine corps, especially since he defeated most of the HECU soldiers after he got to the last entrance of Lambda Complex
yeah, though you are correct on the part where the episodes of HL2 (mostly episode two) involves Gordon dealing with most of the things in the game on his own with barely any help. but regardless, even if he can deal with every possible threat with his intelligent mind and his strong muscles along with the HEV suit on him, he cannot survive through everything without any help. plus, my theory is that Gman must've also been helping Gordon defeat every possible enemy he'd encounter, almost like how he did with Adrian Shepard in Opposing Force
like if it wasn't for Gman, you couldn't be able to reload your saves each time you die in the game, or even reload a specific save before the last one
True, but if it wasn’t for g-man, the Mesa Incident wouldn’t have occurred, leading to the positives provided by gman in this case being far outweighed by the negatives
actually, you are correct on that one. i mean, Gman is the one responsible for the incident, as well as bringing the combine on earth after destroying black mesa (probably with a nuke or some form of a weapon from Opposing Force).
I mean it wasn't the ENTIRE marine corp... just the HECU :P
Don't forget the rest of the arsenal, composed of: -9mm Semi-Automatic Pistol -357 Magnum Revolver -Semi-Automatic Assault Shotgun -Crossbow -Unidentified bioweapon -Rocket-Propelled Grenade Launcher -Experimental Hypervelocity Projectile Weapon -Experimental energy weapon -Fragmentation Grenade -Laser-activated anti-personnel mine -Remote-activated demolition unit -Unidentified bioweapon And a protective suit.
metrocops stronger than us marine corps bruh (breen laughing emoji) freeman gonna bite them ears like Mike Tyson
cousin? want to go practice our vortesence?
Indeed brother

I would agree, he would have a better shot at getting obliterated, as I did in my first play through of surface tension
Also, majority of the half life 2 episodes involve him being alone about 15% of the time (victory mine vort and Alyx)

Wait that argument wasn’t relevant sorry

also it's alright, we're both being nerds on this one anyways lol
