Here's some Barney themed stuff I drew at school today during breaks! Influenced by the Black Mesa Blue Shift a bit, mainly the first pic, you do remember that scene with Harold, eh? I'm actually so happy there's a high quality/Black Mesa version of Blue Shift, since Barney is my favorite character, HECU and Crowbar Collective are legends. Most of it is neutral or a bit depressive and contrasting Barney's usual high spirits but he's human and the game had no time to show the characters' real struggling other than battles. I focused on the sh*t he went through because Gordon's not the only one suffering here. I got that little idea that, once out of Black Mesa with the scientists, when he found a beer bottle he would drop some to the ground, for Gordon's memory. Last time he saw him, marines were dragging him to who knows where so he must have thought he was dead for good. And best buddies are best buddies...
