I've just finished "Half-Life: Field Intensity" (took me 3 days, best 3 days of my life), here's my final review:

this game (i dont feel it to be just a mod) is the peak of Goldsrc mods (far away than others like Cry of Fear or Counter-Strike). This mod provides the maximum potential of the Half-Life anthology bringing us a Story that encompasses almost the 3 days of the incident, starring since the beginning of the Black Mesa incident until the destruction of Black Mesa. The game brings innovative things to the anthology such as Subtitles and objectives*

Although it re-uses assets from Opposing Force, at least it provides a giant story which i told u already (unlike OP4 where most of the story is Adrian "sleeping"); This game not
j-must^ be canon but i encourage new players to play this than/before Opposing Force. I mean, i'm not saying it's a bad game, but i feel Field Intensity so much better (and in terms of story, it's more accurate even though OP4 is canon and Field isn't)

If i had to find negative points is only 2:
- Almost no soundtrack (well yes, but it's mostly a re-use of HL/OP4 ost and i only heard like 2 brand new, being one of them at the intro)
- i felt it so hard sometimes, but never made me rage quit in any moment

Final note: 9.2/10
It's a great game even though it re-uses stuff from all the other 4 games which is why it's considered a "mod", but the innovation it brings to the anthology is what makes me know this isn't just a mod

* in general aspects this isn't new, but (for example) the way the objectives were implemented into Half-Life didn't ruin the essency, because unlike games like Call of Duty where you not only get the objectives but also forces you to reach a specific point of the map every single moment with almost nothing interesting around, but here the objectives are like a decoration (however u can check what to do every time without limiting to explore the map/environment)
^ "just must"

Complement: this mod is what Hunt Down the Freeman never was: a good game, with a character related with Shepard, and where you actually HUNT down the freemam
