SPOILER ALERT: The combine slug was smart not taking Aiden's successful clone. Speaking as the devil's advocate (since the combine are evil), the Aiden's clone we play should be the most sane one of them all. Or at least upload the successful clone's memories and/or "faculties"(?) to the host body we see Aiden kill in one of the endings. Aiden could take over the Combine by himself. Imagine if he played as an advisor grub with Aiden's memories.
