The fate of side/background characters: Half Life: • Gus - Gus aids in constructing Combine architecture and designs the citadel (Unconfirmed) Blue Shift: • Dr. Rosenberg - Dr. Rosenberg dies or is imprisoned during the 7 Hour War (Unconfirmed) • Walter - Walter survives Black Meda and the 7 Hour War. He goes on to aid the resistance and works on recovering the Borealis (Unconfirmed) Opposing Force: • Otis - Otis survives Black Mesa and the 7 Hour War where he solidifies himself as a grizzled guerilla warfare veteran by the events of Half Life 2. He may or may not still be alive. (Unconfirmed) Decay: • Dr. Keller - Keller survives Black Mesa with the help of Collette Greene with the absence of Gina Cross who died. He survives the 7 Hour War, also with the help of Greene, and works with the resistance before dying of natural causes. (Unconfirmed) Field Intensity: • The Security Guard who Wanted to be Friends with a Vortigaunt - He forms an unlikely friendship with the Vortigaunt and the both escape Black Mesa. They survive the 7 Hour War and aid the resistance in rescue operations
Why does everyone want Dr Rosenberg from Half-Life Blue Shift dead? Is it because of his accent?
He's too emotional for his own good. Thinks too much with his heart than his head sometimes.
I like him. He deserves a spin-off or at least a mention. But alas, Valve decided to ignore everything that Gearbox invented for Half-Life universe.
