Bec is definetely cooler than aiden
so if hes "on the vance case" does that mean we will see alyx or eli in the 2nd part of EZU
Considering Chapter Zero takes place some time before EZ1, the "Vance" case probably has something to do with Eli's arrest in HL:A.
does the entropy zero continuity take place in the half life alyx timeline or is it using the old hl2 timeline?
Most likely the Alyx timeline.
I've seen people ask this question before and it really confuses me. What would it mean to be in one timeline or the other? What's the difference? Basically until the big spoiler moment happens, isn't it a Schrodinger's Cat situation? What you call "timelines" are two superpositions of a wave function that has yet to be collapsed.
in the hl2 timeline eli never got arrested, in the alyx timeline he did and alyx had to rescue him

That is an interesting theory for sure. But you haven't answered the question - what would it mean for EZ2 to be in one timeline as opposed to the other?
i guess it would mean alot for the ending, wether or not alyx is someone to worry about in the future
How would the ending change? You say "in the future", but that means not in EZ2, right? So what would the difference be for EZ2?
well in the ez2 ending we dont see gordon or alyx so its left up to interpretation if they are actually there or not
