The first thing that comes to mind is the resonance cascade. The pacing of that scene is fantastic, and Daver's soundtrack does a great job building genuine dread and tension as everything spirals out of control.
But the Marines pretending to act friendly at first is also a stroke of genius, and all scenes with Otis, Murdoch, and Ronny are just fun as hell.
