I know my last post was kind of a bummer-- but the comic is still happening-- just undeniably slowly. Anyways, here's another preview. Context: Barney is describing the Black Mesa Incident to a young Alyx Vance, and he just explained to her what the resonance cascade was. The logical extension of the dialogue exchange is: "What were you doing when it happened?" And, as it turns out, Barney was embarrassing himself while fixing an elevator. Good job, Calhoun. Since I've finally finished another comic I was working on (that you should totally read link in bio), I can get started on the Half-Life: Lockdown comic. Before I start proper, I've decided to add a prologue of sorts, where Barney Calhoun tells a young Alyx Vance about the Black Mesa incident.

Some fanart I made for the BreakingTheBar event a while back. After drawing this, I just couldn't get the idea of making a full on Half-Life comic out of my head.
