"What seems to you a sacrifice is merely, to us, an oscillation. We do not fear the interval of darkness."
This is the closest thing I can do as an homage to the late Tony Todd, the legendary actor that provided his voice to the Vortigaunts in Half Life 2: Episode 2 and Half Life: Alyx. He's mostly know for his performance as the Candyman in the horror film series of the same name, and in case anyone is a transformers fan, he gave life to The Fallen is the second transformers movie and to Dreadwing and Skyquake...so many iconic roles that this text might be longer than it already is.
His voice is forever imortalized within gamers head and the other many iconic roles he gave...
Thank you Mr Tony Todd, you will forever be remembered.

The voice of the Vortigaunts from HL2 EP2 and HL ALYX - Tony Todd has unfortunately passed away. Louis Gossett Jr. the other Vortigaunt voice also passed away back in March of this year. Rest in peace to both. 🕊

Rest in piece Tony Todd, the voice actor for the vortigaunts in half life alyx. The vortigaunt interactions were some of my favorite parts of the whole game, and he did an incredible job voice acting for them.

I've recreated original WON menus for Opposing Force, Blue Shift and Decay, because Valve didn't do it [+BONUS]

I was very excited for an unexpected Half-Life's 25th anniversary update, but in the same time considered unfair, that Opposing Force, Blue Shift and other Valve's titles didn't get the same treatment, therefore I've decided at least to recreate classic WON menus, which I personally like very much.

I did it entirely for myself as a little hobby project in April this year, but recently I've thought that it would be good to share with everyone, so oldschool Half-Life fans and WON era/style connoisseurs could also have an opportunity to enjoy it.

There's also a little bonus, which includes more accurate recreation of original Half-Life's WON menu with the same fonts and reworked effects to make it look as close as possible like an original menu.

Links to Steam guides, where you can download it, check more screenshots and read how to install (very easy):

Half-Life Blue Shift: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3350880061

Half-Life Decay: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3351316035

Half-Life: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3350686658

Also, in the bottom of these guides you can find links to original WON menus for every other Valve's GoldSrc game, which was published on Steam.

Enjoy and have fun (:
