I like Boom (especially history wise), but I actually like MBF more, though I feel the best is absolutely MBF21. I've been experimenting with MBF21 recently, and the things you can do with it are absolutely amazing, especially for something that doesn't require GZDoom. This way I can create quite advanced weapon mods for example that run within Nugget-Doom (my preferred source port, which is based on Woof!) just fine! So yeah, Boom is good, MBF is Boom but better, MBF21 is MBF but better.
