Most GldSource games don't actually have 'Custom' folders I think. You would mostly just need to replace the files you intend on changing. Either way, you would need to go to the game files. On steam, right click on Sven Coop, go to "Manage", then click on "Browse Local Files". After that, you should just be able to put the mod into that folder. It really just depends on what mod you're downloading though. There also might be installation instructions inside the zip the mod comes in.
If it’s a player model mod, I think it has to be put into the ‘svencoop’ folder, actually. If there is a folder that is just named “svencoop” inside the zip the mod comes in, just take all the files from that folder, and put it into the ‘svencoop’ folder inside the game’s directory.
just like on the normal half life, through a custom folder
How the hell do I get that

Sorry for not really getting back to you sooner I’ve put in the files of the player model into The highlighted one

Hmmm. Could you link me to the mod you are trying to download? I might just make a video tutorial and post it to my profile.

Thanks. I’ll make a tutorial when I can.
Actually, now that I'm looking at the mod, I think you were correct before with putting it in "svencoop_addon". Did you ever see if that worked?
Well when I put it in there I didn’t notice anything with the character models
