Hello guys, for the first time I am going to try Garry's mod so if you are kind, recommend me some mods to have fun, but don't overdo it, my computer is not that powerful and it can explode haha
An essential map would definitely be gm_bigcity (as long as you have the required games). If you want to do some Half Life related stuff then I would get the Enhanced Survivor Gordon Freeman model off the workshop. For weapons, get the M9K weapons pack and maybe Star Wars Lightsabers. For NPCs, grab VJ base and Half Life Resurgence off the workshop. Get the stand tool for basic ragdoll posing. Hopefully this should work on your computer.
Get the Empty Hands Swep for exploring maps without the physgun taking up your screen. If you want a different HUD, get the Half-Life 2 Customizable HUD mod. Another good map on the workshop is Freespace 13. I would also recommend checking out NecrosVideos on Youtube. He makes a lot of content showcasing currently popular Garry's Mod Addons and if you see anything you like on his channel, go check those mods out.
