Is light mode for the website planned?
Not right now sorry. The sub communities also have their own color themes, which is hard to swtich.

It would be cool if default dark mode represented Black Mesa, (blacks and oranges) and light mode represented Aperture Science. (whites and blues) Here's a half-assed example.
I wouldn't want that personally, it'd be better to be able to toggle this everywhere.
