let him go bro, it's over... 💔 headcrab zombie is an interesting case, i think the human host do have some sort of awareness on what's going on physical wise like how when you scorch them in hl2 they're screaming in pain and forming coherent sentences after you reverse the audio and such so in a way, you can chill out with your undead partner and they're probably still there enjoying your warmth... just with the side effect of great amount of pain of course. if you can thug it out to have extra time with the love of your life then you'd live on sorry for the unnecessary comment, 10/10 drawing
nawnaw, ur soo chill, i love getting discussion comments im personally not actually sure of i think the host is still in there, i might lean to them being complrtely dead personally. but i do think headcrabs could accidentally trigger the parts of the brain that make sounds. and with that in mind it maked angus and eds story more tragic where angus needs ed to still be alive so he lets thr headcrab stay on becuz he doesnt have the skills to remove it without potentially killing ed, and of course, he doesnt know how long itll be until black mesa can come get them (they wont the rescas is happening) so he ends up feeding and healing "ed" to keep himself from losing it becuz if eds dead thrn angus is the last survivor of a massacre and is trapped in xen alone forever, so if thr headcrab is the one just accidentally making sounds that soumd like ed and eventually becomes tamer over time it allows angus to convince himself its cuz ed is still in there, it maked it hurt more personally, reminds me of when ur loved ones die and drs have to warn you that the last exhale u think u hear id judt lungd deflating and not them actually breathing again
