This is the farthest you can get with ONLY the crowbar in Half-Life 1 , yes i've went through the pain of playing the game like this ONLY TO REALIZE that i cant progress because of these fucking explosive boxes I've tried baiting the turrets , always results in me dying Jumping over it was also not an option Nor bringing an object to boost me up

did you try going back in the building and trying to get full armor and try it again?
I drained the HEV charger and used all the batteries , And I'm pretty sure that wont help resisting what looks like 50 tons of gunpower exploding , Full HP and HEV battery can barley resist a grenade explosion

i don't know but... i guess you could try using the soldiers or turrets to make them fire at the boxes
