The game was pretty cool, especially because they changed the Gold Source Engine renderer to allow for stuff like better skyboxes, which were notoriously horrendous in the unmodified engine.
I still remember their stream where they showed an unfinished Cry of fear on Source engine, sadly they never finished.
Though nowadays they're working on another remake, but on the UE4 engine i think.
I watched a recorded stream video about it on youtube. It looked pretty good. Also, I would really appreciate a remake, as the current game has some doubtful game design (Specially some puzzles).
