Always felt like enemies such as the Cremators aren't getting enough attention. So here's a fan art I did a while back of a group of Cremators "sterilizing" a city.
Now listen. I know that the Immolator is supposed to emit a green beam of plasma energy. But I felt it was more appropriate to treat it as a flamethrower. It does the same thing anyway.

On a separate note. Remember in Half-Life 2 when Eli comments on the Cremator head sitting in a jar that was brought by Alyx? Well sadly we never got an answer as to why Alyx was studying it, but I have a theory. Given that the majority of workers who built the Cremators were kids, I think Alyx was on a mission to track down one of these labor factories. Since the Cremator head is not a human head, perhaps it contained a transponder device that could be used to locate the labor factory. Then they would destroy the factory, or sneak the kids out, and recruit them to the Resistance. Knowing that the suppression field meant humans could no longer procreate, the future of mankind depended on those kids. Which made them incredibly valuable assets.
