try the e3 demos! really cool, BUT e3 2003, is the best, however pull up a video of it, because its really confusing to progress in it, because you have to do certain actions.
You should play some of the E3 demos, they look pretty nice despite how unfinished the state was of half-life 2 when it got leaked. You should also play some of the 2001 era maps too (duh, cuz it's dark and gritty), the map design looks so primitive, yet I can see what kind of game they were going for at the time, something dark and depressing compared to its prequel.
