Is there a possibility you'll be making replicas of other vehicles from the Half-Life universe? I think it'd be really cool to see a replica of the reddish-orange van from Half-Life 2 Episode 1. The van is modeled after a RAF 2203 Latvija.

I see the RAF can be found at 1:43 or 1:24, it could be done. This one had been made because the Charger is among my favourite cars ever. I think as next projects, would be the Scout car (frame chassis one), and the HL1- Black Mesa SUV. But a "parking lot" with all the wrecks that were present in-game, it would also be a doable project, i think at 1:43 scale (cost involved :)) )

A remake of the Black Mesa SUV sounds interesting. Which variation are you thinking of? The Half-Life model based on a Nissan Pathfinder, or the HD model and model from Black Mesa both based on a Jeep Cherokee?

Man, I'd love to see civilian car wreck remakes at some point though. I've played so much Half-Life 2 and Garry's Mod that I consider them equally as iconic as the driveable roster of vehicles.

you made me spend last hour searching the base for the SUV. I'm certain that this is not an exact replica of any car ever made, but a one's own creation with borrowed elements. - Nissan doesn't have the 3 intakes on hood, wrong turn signals, and the rear handles are on the C-pillar, but correct rear windows. - Frontera would work but the back-side windows goes at the roof line. - Mitsubishi has the front turn signal at a wrong angle, and it's bit more straight at the back - Toyota has the same back side windows like the Frontera, but correct signals, door handles. From all of them, the Nissan can be found as plasic kit (i actually have one), so the 4Runner, and I think the Frontera. I'll take a chance with the Nissan, cover the hood, put rear handles (it looks unfinished) and maybe do something about the turn signals.

Yeah they are part of the story, some took bullets for you :)) provided cover. The HL2's are more "identifiable" than those in HL1 p.s. Here's my red 1:24 stock R3 :)

It's most likely intentional it looks different from the real life counterpart to avoid copyright and also give it it's own identity. same with hl2 cars in a way. proportions are exaggerated and details are missing.

I'm helding you responsible for what i did :))) Ordered a Terrano2 1:24 kit for the BM suv, and found all of the transports, around 10 cars 1:43 (raf, gaz, zaz, golf, trabant) Another diorama(s) to come this year :))

Exactly ! Now I need to find some scenarios to gather as many of them. 2-3 dioramas a guess will do.

Hey! I've got some ideas here for dioramas you can make for each of the cars you mentioned above! In my experience, these are the most memorable locations these cars are spotted. 1: Golf seen in the E3 demonstration Barricade 2: Trabant seen in Ravenholm outside of the elevator 3: Gaz seen in Ravenholm used as a crushing trap 4: Zaz seen in Ep1 parking garage covering antlion burrow 5: Raf seen in Ep1 used to get back into the citadel
