Something that always bothered me about DeadLock is that Valve removed all the Half-Life Content from it. Yes, it's nice they are trying something new with completely new characters, but it would have really been awesome if they kept the extended Half-Life Universe idea intact. What are your thoughts?

I think there will be a workshop modding scene to re-implement all the half-life stuff for those interested. By the community for the community.
I really hope so one day. I personally think Valve doesn't really care on doing Workshop stuff for DeadLock. Especially right now as it isn't really a priority rather than finishing the game.
TF2, L4D, CS are not in the HL Universe either, and everyone okay with that. Only HL and Portal are in the HL Universe.
a moba in the HL universe would be pretty damn weird and the devs would be very limited if they tried to keep it canon
