im sure you get asked this alot but, what would you recommend just getting into the hobby for the fun of it?
Do voices by yourself when you can! Practice. Study other voice actors. Get to know them. Get to the point where you know who 'Troy Baker' and 'Kevin Conroy' are. Their methods are just putting yourself in the shoes of someone else and expressing facial expressions and movement through voice only.

Not even slightly lol. Otis's accent is based on Minnesota, which I stayed in for about a month. That was a good learning point.
