I decided to paint. The character's name is Xamu`Sha, he was blinded during the hostilities as a Vortigont, who mastered kenjutsu (the art of sword) and, together with the Resistance, fought against the Combine in City 3 (a huge industrial metropolis consisting of 2 once famous cities of Japan, Tokyo and Osaka). The character is inspired by the film "Zatoichi" by Takeshi Kitano and the hero Rutger Hauer from "Blind Fury". Especially for my fanfiction story "Half-Life: Green Spectrum", where the protagonist is Shepard, who is awakened by G-Man from stasis in the dilapidated surroundings of City 3 a week before Gordon and Alyx teleport from Nova Prospekt to City 17. There he is caught by harvesters (the guise of harvesters in Japan is all the early concept art of the Beta Combine fighters) and is sent for interrogation in the Shikiyama prison, where he is rescued on the way by the Resistance with a beautiful tomboy named Shino. It turns out that City 3 is a very important place for the Combine, since it is in this city that complex structures for the Citadel are produced, as well as new types of synthetics and genetically modified fighters are created and tested. Also, this is the only city on Earth where the Suppression Field does not work. All this for the use of children as a labor force for assembling synthetics (such as Kremator, and there are a lot of them in City 3) or mysterious experiments. All children who have reached a certain age are taken from their parents by force. City 3 is ruled by the brutal Kaiser. Once, he was the chief scientist of Aperture Science of the Japanese branch, but after taking over the Earth, without hesitation, he gave the Harvester all the classified data of his company and handed over to his colleagues for nightmarish experiments with their minds. He does not shy away from the most brutal methods of using science, which earned the endless trust of his patrons, and after the Seven Hour War he proclaimed himself Kaiser of Japan.
