Source 2 100%.
SteamDB says that Deadlock is using Source 2. It's working pretty well for most of their games, so I see no reason for Valve to return to Source 1, an engine that is objectively speaking, totally ancient now.
Also it is a pain to work with due to it being rushed and unfinished also because of the spaghetti code
Oh yeah, believe me. The code is like a real spaghetti.
It should be source 2. At least it look like almost same source 2 as in HLA or CS2 , and there no reason for valve to change it

At this point Source 1 is dead for Valve. still not gonna forgive them on the fact that unlike id Software they didnt make GoldSrc open-source. Like the base engine used for GoldSrc is already GNU licensed man...
