Here are 3 Multiplayer Source Mods I'm hyped for shown through images. Image 1: Peer Review, a remake of the PlayStation 2-exclusive HL1 expansion known as Half-Life Decay by PSR Digital using Source SDK 2013. At the current moment I put this up there with Tripmine's Operation Black Mesa/Guard Duty and Crowbar Collective's Black Mesa. Image 2: Resident Evil: Cold Blood Rebirth, which if I remember correctly is a Source SDK 2013 remake of the original Goldsrc Resident Evil: Cold Blood mod. Ima…
I found the source (or full version) of the song that plays when you first show up in Kleiners Lab in HL2 (aka "hl2_song10")
Half-Life II (Inspired by Final Fantasy VII's box art)
Today is not only my Birthday but its also my 5th year anniversary of being a HL fan. Happy birthday/anniversary to me I guess lol
So here's a story: On the fateful day of June 19th, 2017 I bought the Valve Complete Pack and it was also on this same day that I played Half-Life for the first time thanks to the purchase. Now its almost June 19th, 2022 and that means that by that point I will have been a fan of Valve/Half-Life for 5 years. (On a side note, I would've posted a version of this story on June 19th, 2022 but I worried I would forget so here it is now.)
Funny how a horrible PS4 game (Life of Black Tiger) gave MarphitimusBlackimus the idea to create this masterpiece:
Remember that Half-Life 2 VR Mod that got approved via Steam Greenlight that seemingly died off? Well a new gameplay vid of the mod came out like 3 weeks ago and it's looking pretty good imo for those who didn't notice.
This cancelled Source 2 remake of Counter-Strike's de_dust2 is absolutely beautiful and inspiring, these are only 4 of the several images shown but they still speak for itself. I hope that if there's ever a CSGO Source 2 port or a successor/sequel to CSGO in Source 2 they revisit this. (Will link where I got these images from in the comments)
