My favourite area was always the lab in 'Questionable Ethics' because of the big reveal that Black Mesa had been studying Xenian species before the Resonance Cascade, and a great deal of brutal combat in a very sterile looking environment.
I love the Biodome complex (Sector E)

You gotta love all of them because of the amazing different atmosphere in all the areas.
I love the Hazard Course myself. Did you know it's the only area of Black Mesa that all 5 protagonists from HL1 and its expansions travel to?
On a Rail of course! The best chapter and also so easy to navigate!

The Lambda Reactor Coolant System in Sector F, followed by the Lambda Core. The whole area has this experimental tech/nuclear reactor vibe to it.
