Something lurks in the shadows of the Ravenholm Quarantine Zone. A mutated creature, created by the Headcrabs' nest and the toxic waste of the Combine industry..Seeking its next prey, or host. I tried to do a mutation between a Reviver, Headcrabs, Barnacle and some toxic waste "blob". The creature is misshapen, with long front arms, hind legs ending in hoof-like shapes. A mouth still wide open, continuously spitting saliva. Just like the Headcrabs, it can mate with a human body to create an even more frightening amalgam and her Riviver genes allow it to revive nearby dead bodies and also create electric arcs. Concept for my fanfiction based on Ravenholm : "A group of Rebel have established a colony hidden in the deep mines beneath Ravenholm. They quickly realized that a Xen "contamination" had taken place there, turning the tunnels into an Oasis for the flora and fauna of the Other World. Having learned to tame the creatures, they try to coexist in symbiosis. On surface, the streets of Ravenholm are infested with hordes of Zombies and Headcrabs. To prevent the "infection" that they themselves created, the Combines surrounded the city with gigantic moving walls. Due to the immeasurable number of Zombies, Headcrabs and other abominations that have mutated in the streets, Ravenholm has seen herself totally reforged in the image of a nest of flesh and rot. The walls of the buildings still standing are covered with an amalgam of decaying blood, flesh, organs and bones." Like always photobashing, matepainting, digitalpainting and of course some assets are from Half-Life games !
