Hear me out: A source mod where you play as a CP unit (who's wife is a citizen that you get the better food for) who has to do some odd-jobs throughout City 17. You play through until you have to track down the resistance, only to find out your wife is one of the members. Then, the game splits, where if you kill your wife, you get promoted. But you go down a mental spiral and end up killing yourself. If you save her, you get hunted by the combine, not before finding the borealis and sending its location to the resistance. Thoughts? Suggested by my friend in a discord call.

That's.... an interesting idea. I'm not sure how the Borealis would fit into it, but it's definitely pretty unique.
