Purple? I thought that was Race X's color. Xen is green and their mystical healing and auras seem to be greenish-blue

This illustration was inspired by the Vortigaunts scene in Half-Life 2 Episode One. Where we see the Vortigaunts protecting Alyx and Gordon against the G-Man with a Purpleis-blue aura. So yes of course, the attack and healing incantations are green, but the protection/"teleportation" aura is Purple. Here, for my illustration, the vortigaunts only cast a little spell, that's why there is only a slight aura around their hands, and not a whole aura that covers their body in blue / purple.

Ah, well I needed the context as what the Vortigaunts were doing. That occurred when floating in and out of time pockets, or when weaving life forces together with another person during an extreme healing process. So that would make sense if that’s what is going on here
