Nope, you can view the emails as long as you don't click the links, hackers somehow found a way to bypass all security measures with just a simple click of the link. Which is freaking insane but unfortunately that happens.
The link takes you to a website. These kind of sites are called malware sites.
Usually companies or corporations will never send you files or anything that's remotely sussy. They all tell you through text (if you get sussy emails, typos/misspelling, refering you as a sir or Mr without your name and surname). I recommend you to NOT open em, or use a site to check if the website is safe.
