Progress on turning my hl1 player model of myself (the only thing that's making this related to hl) into a Quake 2 player model. I've had to animate all the animations for the character, got it exported right with help of a person from the quake modding discord I visit, and now it works in-game... Kind of... The character is working fine but the weapon models that they hold is separate from the actual model. I've done the proper animations for those as well but whenever I try to export a md2 model on my end it doesn't load that model in-game. For example, I tried exporting the shotgun model but in game when using it, it looks like the player model is trying to air guitar a dude to death. Which is kinda funny but it's not what I'm trying to do lol. I would ask that same guy to help me out exporting but I feel I should get it sorted on my end cuz it feels like a dumb thing to ask people to do when I probs have the answer to my lil' conundrum right in front of me (that and Quake 2 got quite a bit of weapon models).
